It’s nearly Halloween, and that means it’s time for more bone chilling tales from Poolesville’s past! Professor and folklore enthusiast Christine Rai will lead a hair-raising walking tour through the center of town, and tell the tales of dark histories and chilling hauntings associated with some Poolesville’s oldest historic buildings.

The tours take place October 19 & 26. Early tours, from 6:00 – 7:00 p.m., are family friendly and suitable for all ages. Late Adult-Only Tours, from 8:00 – 9:15 p.m., are even spookier. In between tours, you’ll find a bonfire, s’mores and cider at the John Poole House. There’s enough fun to scare the whole family!
