Join speaker James H. Johnston for “Misplacing History: Rowser’s Ford” at the Beall-Dawson House in Rockville. During this free, lunchtime talk he will discuss Confederate General J.E.B. Stuart's crossing of the Potomac with 5,000 horsemen and subsequent ransacking of Montgomery County in 1863, and will solve the historical mystery of where the crossing really occurred.
