Weekday Hike

Seneca Creek State Park

Come for fresh air and a leisurely 60 to 90-minute hike on the far side of Clopper Lake. Look for interesting plants, animals and winter waterfowl as you explore nature. Wear comfortable walking shoes and dress for the weather. Meet at Quail Ridge.

Nature Scavenger Hunt

Patuxent River State Park 23222 Georgia Ave, Brookeville, MD

Early spring is a great time to try a scavenger hunt! The animals are stirring, plants are growing, but you can still see far into the woods since the underbrush hasn't grown yet. Drop by the Nature Center and pick up a self-guided Scavenger Hunt. Levels range from easy to challenging.
