Stonecutter Cemetery Hike
November 17, 2019 @ 1:30 pm
Come for a bushwhacking, history-seeking hike to find the final resting place of 100 or more of the quarry workers who mined the sandstone that was used to build the Smithsonian Castle. There is NO TRAIL to the cemetery; prepare to cross farm fields and woods. Round-trip hike will be approximately 4 miles. Meet approximately 1/2 mile past the Seneca Schoolhouse on River Road with parking on the side of the road.
