Seneca Stonecutter Cemetery Hike

March 9, 2019 @ 1:00 pm

This bushwhacking, history-seeking hike focuses on the final resting place of 100 or more of the quarry workers who mined the sandstone that was used to build the Smithsonian Castle. There is NO TRAIL to the cemetery; plan to hike through farm fields and woods. The round trip hike will be approximately four miles.

The group will meet on River Road, past Seneca Schoolhouse .03 miles west of the intersection with Partnership Road.
