The second event in Montgomery History’s BOOM Speaker Series will focus on Marriott’s Hot Shoppes drive-ins, motor hotels, and the country’s new Interstate Highway System in relation to Montgomery County in the 1950s. Tuesday, November 14, 6:30-7:30pm at the Davis Public Library in Bethesda. A free event, but registration is recommended.
