Come to Seneca Creek State Park and learn about the animals native to Maryland. Examine a real fur pelt and animal bones, and learn what these things tell us about our wildlife.

This is a chance to get some fresh air and exercise after work at Seneca Creek State Park. Hike a loop of between 1.5 and 2 miles, with frequent stops for animal sightings, plant and praying mantis egg case searches. The route will vary based on trail conditions.

Get a great workout in while learning a fun new way to exercise with a hula hoop! This lesson will focus on basic waist hula hooping and strengthening coordination. All skill levels are welcome and limited hula hoops will be available to borrow. Meet at the park office.
