A living history center depicting plantation life of the enslaved in the 1850s and the story of the Underground Railroad. Reconstruction-era barn, historic outbuildings, heirloom garden, heritage breed farm animals, and slave cemetery. Work continues to restore and maintain the historic buildings and preserve the cultural landscape as a resource for education, preservation, and heritage. Home to the Menare Foundation.
