John Poole House – Heritage Days
June 28 - June 29
FreeThis 1793 log cabin was built to serve as a general store and trading post; it is the oldest building in Poolesville. Inside, exhibits explore daily life in the early 1800s and the town’s growth over time. Enjoy special events, hands-on activities, and docent-led tours. The cabin offers a rare opportunity to step inside an original structure from the post-Revolutionary period. It’s a must-visit for history lovers and curious explorers alike.
