Merciful Minerva! Suffrage and the Birth of Wonder Woman

Inspired by the women’s suffrage movement of the 1910s, William Moulton Marston created Wonder Woman in 1941 as a new type of woman he believed should rule the world. More than 75 years later she continues to be an icon of strength and liberation for generations of young girls and women. Park Ranger Heidi Dietze will discuss how Wonder Woman broke through sexist barriers. Pre-registration is required.

Tasting (over 21 only) with True Respite Brewing Company at 7:00 p.m.; lecture begins at 7:30 p.m.
